What to Expect When Booking
- I typically open my books at the start of each month to book for the following month. The exact date and how long my form stays active for changes each month, but is always announced in advance via my mailing list and Instagram! I recommend joining my mailing list for direct updates if you don’t want to have to keep an eye on social media.
- You can find the link to my booking form through the ‘booking’ tab on my website when it is active.
- Be sure to fill out my booking form as accurately and specifically as possible! I base who gets an appointment based off of a combination of availability, budget, and design choice.
- If your design is chosen, I will send you a date and time for your appointment based off of the availability you have given me, and ask for a deposit to confirm the spot.
- I do all of my booking and scheduling myself, and I rely on accurate information from everyone when filling up my schedule. I typically work out my schedule in advance and send out emails all at once. For this reason, if your availability is inaccurate or has changed and you can not make the date that I give you work, I cannot guarantee that I will be able to find another spot for you that month, and you will have to try again for the next booking round. Due to this, DO NOT SEND ME A DEPOSIT BEFORE WE HAVE CONFIRMED A DATE.
- Once I have received your deposit, I will send you a followup email confirming your appointment with additional studio information included.
- I do not show designs in advance! This is because of a variety of reasons, but mostly because I find it frustrating trying to communicate ideas back and forth over email. I will have your design ready for our appointment and will allot time to make any small changes if need be. If significant changes need to be made, I may require a redraw fee and our appointment may need to be rescheduled.
What Information Do I Ask on My Jotform?
-Your name, pronouns, and email
-Whether you are traveling or local
-Your weekly/monthly availability as well as any dates that will not work for you
-Your budget
-Size/Placement of your design
-Detailed description of the design or flash you are looking to claim
-Reference photos
Deposits and Rescheduling
- I require a $150 deposit for every appointment that will ultimately come out the final price of your tattoo. This is completely non-refundable, so please make sure you are ready and able to get tattooed and are serious about your inquiry.
- If you give me at least 48+ hours cancellation notice, you may reschedule your appointment and your deposit will roll over toward your new session. I have a three month grace period when rebooking local clients (case-by-case for traveling). If this period passes, your deposit may be forfeited, and If you choose to reschedule later I will require a new deposit.
- If you cancel your appointment without 48 hours notice, your deposit will be forfeited and you will need to leave a new one to reschedule with me.
Changed your mind about your design?
I base who gets appointments off of their design choice- in other words, I am booking the design not the person. If you decide to change your idea to something that is not what I am looking to do, your appointment will be cancelled and your deposit forfeited. For this reason, PLEASE make sure you know what you want when booking with me.
Flash
I typically like to do a mix of both flash and custom tattoos, however some booking rounds are flash only based off of my personal schedule. I will make an announcement before booking opens each month if this is the case. I DO NOT repeat flash, so once it’s tattooed it’s gone! I have two options for booking flash:
Option 1: View in Advance Through My Email List
-I send out a link to all of my available flash each month before booking to everyone on my email list. Please note: Available flash is only available to be viewed in advance by people on my mailing list!
-To book flash, just screenshot the design you want and send it with your proposal in my booking form.
-Most flash has a minimum size listed. While I am always happy to go larger, the minimum size for each piece is firm and I am not willing to go smaller than this.
Option 2: Day-of Flash Book
-If you want to be surprised by my flash selection this is for you! You can let me know in your proposal that you would like to do a day-of flash appointment, and I will let you sort through all of my flash when you get to the studio. i will typically ask you to come in 15-30 minutes early to ensure you have enough time to look through everything.
-My day-of flash is fun because it is always growing and there may be some things there that were not ready or available when I sent out my booking form. However, because flash is one and done, anything claimed before then during booking will also be taken off and be unavailable.
-I have a lot of flash to look through and I really think there is something for everyone, however if you are really picky or looking for something specific, this may not be the option for you! I will never force someone to get tattooed, but if you don't like any of the options available that day, please know that you will forfeit your appointment and lose your deposit.
COVID -19 Policies and Precautions
- At this time, I am requiring all clients to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. I do not know if/when I will change my mind about this, but at the moment this is a firm policy. I prefer that you send me your vaccination card in advance when booking with me, but it’s fine if you provide it at our appointment as well.
- Masks are required and must be worn properly at all times, even if vaccinated. If you do not have a mask, the shop will be able to provide one.
- It is recommended that you come to your appointment alone, however the studio is currently limiting clients to one guest each. Please let me know in advance if you wish to bring a guest, and you must be able to provide me with their proof of vaccination as well. Keep in mind that based off of how busy the studio is that day, your guest will likely not be allowed in the procedure area and will have to stay in the waiting area for the duration of your tattoo.
- If you are feeling sick or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, LET ME KNOW IMMEDIATELY! The health and safety of myself, my shop-mates, and all of our clients is always my top priority! If you need to cancel last minute due to Covid, I will do my absolute best to accommodate and reschedule, but know that your deposit may be kept at my discretion on a case-by-case basis.

Rates
- I do not price based off an hourly rate, as I am a pretty fast tattooer and this would not make sense for my work. Instead I try my best to determine price based off of size, time, and what I think a piece is honestly worth.
- When booking with me, I will give you a very general price range of what I believe the cost of your tattoo will be, however last minute changes to the design, size, or area of your tattoo will all be a factor in the final price day of.
- I do not have a strict format for my pricing, but to get a general idea of what a session might cost please read the following:
- I have a $350 minimum, but most smaller designs start around $450
- Medium sized pieces are generally in the $650-900 range
- Larger designs can vary anywhere from $1200+
- A full day session (about 7 hours or around 4 smaller pieces) is $2500
Again, this all varies based off of other factors and I will try my best to give you a more defined price range when booking.
Payment
- I use Venmo or PayPal for booking deposits. Keep in mind that your deposit will come out of the final price of your design.
- For payment day of your session I accept Venmo or PayPal, however Zelle or Cash is preferred.

Preparing for Your Appointment
- Please come to your appointment well rested, hydrated, and having eaten a meal within the past 2 hours. We also keep a selection of snacks at the studio if needed to keep your blood sugar in check during your session.
- Do not drink alcohol or caffeine within 24 hours of your appointment. This can dehydrate your skin and cause blood thinning, both of which make the tattooing process more difficult and can result in a less than ideal heal.
- Wear clothing that is appropriate to the area you are getting tattooed. (ex. If you are getting your leg tattooed, be sure not to wear long or tight fitting pants)
- Please bring a valid, government issued ID with you.
- Keep your skin moisturized in the days leading up to your appointment, however on the DAY OF your appointment make sure your skin is clean and free of excess moisturizers or tanning lotions.
- Please notify me in advance of any skin or health conditions that may affect the area getting tattooed. If you have sunburn, cuts, or other open wounds, I CANNOT tattoo that area. Please be mindful of this in the days leading up to your appointment.
- If you are getting tattooed in an area you do not normally shave, please do not shave in advance! I appreciate the good intentions but razor burn or cuts from improper shaving can affect the way your tattoo heals, or we may have to change the placement of your tattoo.
- If you are going to be late to your appointment, please let me know in advance! If you are more than 30 minutes late without notice, you will be considered a no call-no show and your appointment may have to be rescheduled and you will lose your deposit.
Aftercare
For most tattoos I use a Recovery Derm Shield bandage. For this aftercare:
- Keep the bandage dry and clean for 5-7 days.
- There will likely be some plasma that fills up inside the bandage and this is completely normal!
- Do not take the bandage off before 5-7 days unless the seal breaks (leaking or peeling at the edges)
- Avoid workouts, sweating, and direct sunlight on the area of the tattoo for 5-7 days.
- Do not submerge the bandage in water or scrub at it while in the shower.
- Once you are ready to take the bandage off, pull it away from the skin while in the shower and wash with a gentle antibacterial soap (I recommend Dial Gold or Dr Bronner’s)
- Use a thin layer of unscented body lotion, or other tattoo aftercare cream, 1-2 times a day for the next 3-6 weeks.
In some cases, when a bandage is not available or will not work for a specific area of your body, I will recommend a traditional cleaning method:
- I’ll wrap your tattoo in cling wrap. Leave this on for the next 1-2 hours. Be sure not to leave it on for longer than this as it can suffocate your tattoo!
- Once you are ready to take the wrap off, wash your tattoo with a gentle antibacterial soap (once again, Dial Gold and Dr Bronner’s are both great) and allow to completely air dry or pat dry with a clean paper towel.
- Once dry, spread on a very thin layer of Aquaphor, or another tattoo after care ointment. Repeat this cleaning and moisturizing process once a day for the next three days. Be sure to keep your tattoo clean and dry throughout the day while it is in this initial healing phase.
(A quick note on Aquaphor: A lot of tattooers have stopped recommending Aquaphor as it contains petroleum which can be very suffocating to your fresh tattoo and can pull out ink with extended use. I have personally found that it works just fine so long as you use the barest minimum possible to moisturize your tattoo and do not extend the use for longer than the recommended 3 days. Again, ONLY SPREAD A VERY THIN LAYER AND DO NOT USE IT LONGER THAN 3 DAYS, and your tattoo should be just fine.)
- After 3 days of washing and using ointment, you can switch to using a thin layer of unscented lotion 1-2 times a day for the next 3-6 weeks.
- Avoid workouts, sweating, and direct sunlight on the area of the tattoo for 5-7 days.
BIG DON’TS!!!
- Do not swim or submerge your tattoo in water for at least 3-6 weeks! This can mess with your heal and put you at risk for a bacterial infection.
- Do not expose your tattoo to direct sunlight while healing! Once the bandage is off or the tattoo has started scabbing, you can start to use sunscreen when outside. ALWAYS USE SUNSCREEN ON YOUR TATTOOS! Prolonged or early sun exposure can cause premature fading.
- Do not use scented or perfumed soaps or lotions on your new tattoo! Not only are these extremely drying to the skin, but they also contain other chemicals that can mess with your healing process.
Touchups
I take a lot of pride in my work and want it to look its best forever! I am always happy to do a free touchup once your design heals, however if I determine that the correct aftercare was not taken and it is obvious that a signifiant touchup is due to a fault on your end, I will request a touchup fee.
I.e. Don’t let me find out you went swimming the day after our appointment!!!

Where are you located?
I am currently based out of Los Angeles and working at Rodeo Tattoo Co. in Lincoln Heights.
Do you ever do guest spots?
I love doing guest spots! I try to do at least one every few months, and I have a ton of spots I would love to visit in the near future! Any/all guest spots will be announced via my mailing list.
Do you do coverups?
I am open to doing coverups on a case-by-case basis. Due to my style of tattooing, it can be hard to fully cover an existing tattoo, so my work is best suited for covering very small or light tattoos, or as a blastover if you’re okay with the existing tattoo showing underneath.
Can you tattoo over scars?
As long as your scar is fully healed (at least one year), then generally yes! If there is significantly thicker scarring or it is covering a larger area, I ask that you send me photos in advance of your appointment and I will let you know if I think there will be any issues.
Can you tattoo over a skin condition?
I recommend consulting with a dermatologist first, but in general I feel comfortable tattooing over most mild skin conditions and as long as you give me a heads up in advance I will do my best to let you know ahead of time if I think there will be any issues and what kind of results to expect.
Do you use vegan inks?
Yes! I make sure that all the ink brands I use are vegan (I currently am using Dynamic, Solid, Eternal, and Nocturnal Inks)
Do you use biodegradable tattoo products?
Yes! Rodeo is a HUGE supporter of the eco tattoo supply brand Good Judy. While we are still not 100% biodegradable, a large portion of the products we use daily are!
Do you accept commissions?
I do not take design commissions or sell my designs for other artists to tattoo, or for illustrations that I am not planning to tattoo.
Will you ever take on an apprentice?
Honestly, probably not anytime in the near future! I am still relatively new to tattooing and know that I have a lot more to learn before I would feel comfortable teaching anyone else how to tattoo. I am also just not sure that I am suited for being a mentor to someone else in general, at least for right now.
